The role of Softball in my life

Softball is the sport I play for more than two years now. I am part of the university team since march 2009. Some moght ask why I chose this kind of sport because it is none of the typical ones. I spent one year in America before I came to Marburg. There, I watched a lot of baseball games in the stadium or on TV, but I never played the game. I always wanted to try it but I never had the time to do so. Then, I started to study and forgot about it. But during the semester brake I found out that the university has a softball team, the "Marburg Monsters". Softball is pretty close to baseball, there are just minor changes in the rules of the game. I decided to try it, and until today I did not regret making this choice. The team spirit is really great and most of its members became pretty close friends of mine.
